June Update

Hello Graveyard of the Gods backers,

Well it's happened again. I keep thinking we'll have the Pathfinder version out each month, and things keep coming up. We've got five of the eight adventures converted now and we put them through editing and layout as soon as they come in.

I really hope to have the Pathfinder version out in June.

I'll keep you posted.

May Update
12 months ago – Sat, May 06, 2023 at 01:26:30 PM

Hello Graveyard of the Gods Backers,

I hope you are all doing well. April turned out to be a rough month for Pathfinder conversions as the person working on it was sick for a much of the month and also had day-job issues to catch up on.

But he's feeling better now and hard at work. I think we're on track to have the PDF of the Pathfinder 2e version of Graveyard of the Gods out to backers by the end of May.

If that works out as planned, we'll probably get print books out to people July-ish.

As always these are my best guesses and subject to change.

20 Wondrous Walls is Live!

Even as we work to wrap up rewards for Graveyard of the Gods, we've launched our next Kickstarter campaign: 20 Wondrous Walls! This mini-book features twenty new wall spells for spellcasters of all levels.

We've already funded are are less than $100 away for our first stretch-goal of more art. After that there's stretch goals to expand the line, with 20 Curious Closets as the next book.

I'll be sure to check in again in a month unless there's more to share sooner.

Thanks,

Matthew

Graveyard of the Gods is Here!

Hello Backers,

I'm excited to say that we just released the 5e PDF of Graveyard of the Gods. If your pledge includes the 5e version, you should have gotten an email from DriveThruRPG recently with a free product coupon.

If you think your pledge includes the 5e PDF and you didn't get an email, let me know and we'll figure it out. These emails sometimes end up in you junk folder, and some people still need to fill our your BackerKit surveys in which you pick your rewards.

The Work Continues

We're still hard at work on the Pathfinder 2e version of Graveyard of the Gods. The conversion continues, and we hope to have it done by the end of April, though I'll keep you all posted on how things continue.

The print version will come out about a month or two after the Pathfinder PDFs are done.

Wondrous Walls

As we start wrapping up this Kickstarter campaign, I'm getting ready for my next one: 20 Wondrous Walls.

This is a much smaller project for a PDF featuring 20 new wall spells from the cantrip wall of paper to the 9th-level wall of death. We're planning to launch this project sometime in May and you can sign up now for alerts to make sure you don't miss it.

That's all for now. Since it's almost April, I'm going to skip the April check in. I'll post another update in May unless I have more news first.

March Update
about 1 year ago – Sat, Mar 04, 2023 at 11:58:05 AM

Hello Backers,

Yes, I'm afraid it happened again. I said, “I think we'll get the PDF out this month,” and then we didn't.

But this time I really do think we'll at least the 5e PDF out this month. All the text is ready to go, and we've got just one illustration left outstanding and a handful of maps, most of which are pretty small.

I'm working on layout now with using sketches and rough maps were we don't have them, and then I'll just drop in the finals when I get them and be ready to go.

The Pathfinder version may also be ready towards the end of the month or early next month. Print books will probably be out a month or two after that.

Results are In

Thanks to everybody who voted in the recent poll about combining or splitting monsters and named NPCs. The results were pretty clear, with almost 80% of you wanting to split them in to separate sections, so that's what I'm doing.

Thanks again all for you patience. I'll end again with an illustration and a map.

Poll: Monsters and NPCs. Mix or Seperate?
about 1 year ago – Thu, Feb 23, 2023 at 07:13:35 PM

Hello Backers,

I'm still hoping to get things done by the 28th, though it's looking like we may have a few outstanding maps and pieces of art by that day.

As I'm working on layout I've had a question come up. Per previous poll, I'm putting monsters in the separate section in the back of the book. Now I'm debating whether named NPCs should be mixed in amongst the monsters, or should they get their own section, probably right before or after.

One the one hand I think it would be nice to keep named goblin leaders with generic goblins, but it also means that the random dwarf and elf NPCs would just be hanging out on their own.
